Two Men Fatally Shot In Rogers Park

Two Chicago men were killed early Monday while they waited at a stop light in their SUV in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood.

Police say Miller, the driver, and Bell were shot around 12:46 a.m. near the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road. After shots were fired, it appeared that they attempted to drive away from the scene and the vehicle they were riding in crashed into a tree, the Tribune reports.

CBS Chicago reports an autopsy will be performed on the victims later Monday. At this time, it is unclear whether the victims died from injuries sustained during the shootings or the crash.

Police say the shooting was not an attempted carjacking, according to the AP. As of late Monday morning, they have no suspects in custody as their investigation continues.
