Use Wine Glasses As Cloches (VIDEO)

WATCH: Repurpose Wine Glasses As Cloches

Cloche, which means 'bell' in French is also a home accessory that's often referred to as bell jars. Although cloches were originally used to hold botanical specimens, you can find them used in many ways today, from displaying mini sculptures and figurines to holding mail and even pretty rocks. But while cloches make for very pretty showcases, they often cost a lot of money. An easy way to make your own cloches is to turn wine glasses upside down. They instantly become pretty table accents.

Entertaining guru Elaine Griffin likes to place flowers under the overturned wine glasses and then placing candles on the base. This way, the wine glass serves as both an elegant cloche and candleholder. Try placing one at each place setting or your can line them up in a row along the center of the table for a runner or centerpiece. The key is to have fun and play around with the arrangement.
