Usher's 'Climax': R&B Artist's New Song Is A Collaboration With Diplo (AUDIO)

Usher Goes 'Electrosoul' On New Song

The Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye isn't the only one with a corner on the R&B-meets-electro market anymore. Usher's back in town, and he's jumping on board the trend with his latest song, "Climax," done in collaboration with master producer Diplo, and for extra points, features strings by another genre-mixer, classical music composer Nico Muhly. Diplo called the track "seriously the best record ive been part of" and "some next level electrosoul" on Twitter. Later regretting his labeling, he tweeted, "Damn i wish i didnt say electro soul.. Ee i hadnt slept in like 65 hours when i wrote that . Its more like radiohead quietstorm.."

Or maybe it's called "Revolutionary Pop," the sound Usher told Styleist about back in 2010 that "combines several music genres to create a new sound experience."

Wait, we've got it -- electrosoul-Radiohead-quietstorm-Revolutionary-Pop. Did we mention this is a new Usher song?!
