Wedding On TV: Couple Gets Engaged And Married Live On 'Good Morning America'

Brian Bondy asked his girlfriend, Melissa Cohn, two important questions during an appearance on "Good Morning America" Thursday. First, he asked her if she would marry him. Then, he asked if she'd marry him in one hour, on live television.

Cohn said yes to both, setting into motion the first-ever live wedding on a morning show, ABC reported Thursday. Bondy asked for "Good Morning America's" help in planning the surprise, and they agreed to help him not only pop the question live during the show, but also plan their wedding and tie the knot later on in the show.

After an overwhelmed Cohn agreed to the "quickie" wedding (she had thought they were on the show to talk about extreme romances), she was given four wedding dresses from Kleinfeld Bridal to choose from. Then, she picked her wedding cake from three contenders provided by "Cake Boss's" Buddy Valastro.

The couple's friends and family, who were in on the surprise, served as bridesmaids and groomsmen, and the two said their vows in Times Square.

"They say your wedding day is one of the most amazing days of your life and this is one of the top two now for me," Cohn said. "I never thought I'd get married on television. This is amazing to get married on 'GMA.'"

Another couple got hitched in a live-streamed wedding on Thursday -- Sierra and Andrew won an all-expenses paid wedding courtesy of The Knot, which was streamed to thousands of viewers. The catch? The Knot's readers selected every detail of their wedding for them.
