Celeb moms are using social media to help support important causes, like school fundraising... yep!

We caught celeb moms RHOBH's Adrienne Maloof, Courtney Mazza (Mario Lopez's fiancee), and Samantha Harris retweeting about MSN Offers for Schools; so I looked into it to see what all the buzz is about. Sounds interesting, actually:

With school budgets being cut across the nation, this is the perfect time for a daily deals program that can actually benefit schools! MSN Offers is a newly launched daily deals site that also offers a unique fundraising opportunity to schools through a revolutionary, community-building program for non-profit organizations, named "MSN Offers for Schools."

Unlike other deal sites, MSN Offers for Schools allows educational institutions to become affiliates and run MSN Offers through their channels to receive a commission or enlist merchants to run MSN Offers to receive additional commissions. Participating non-profit schools groups receive a payout for any deal sourced and/or sold through them.

There's even an animated video that shows fundraising parties how easy it is to sign up and kick-start the fundraising you can view on the site. Created by Tadapix, whose branded content is designed to engage audiences via entertainment value to encourage sharing with friends, the MSN Offers for Schools' video is a fun tool for the members of the community to utilize for fundraising efforts.

No other daily deals site is utilizing the influence of discounts and bargains to benefit children and raise funds for local schools.

I am a product of the New York City School System. I know firsthand what budget cuts can do to teachers and students. Now more than ever, they need a little help! Also, I look at it this way; I am already buying a ton of stuff online (and so are you!). Why not help schools across America out by using this new service?
