Where has this BEAN all our lives?!

It has been brought to our attention that Whole Foods is offering unlimited, 25-cent cups of hot coffee during the month of September, at every in-store coffee bar.

Say whaaat?!

The coffee deal is part of Whole Foods' "Love Fest" promotion, which will further treat customers with $500 gift cards, giveaways and discounts through early November. It's also a brilliant way for Whole Foods to make money, as Time points out. A cheap coffee will get shoppers through the door, over to the coffee bar, and then back through grocery aisles filled with such wondrous, high-priced goods as asparagus water and artisanal crackers.

But hey: When making at-home coffee in a Keurig costs $51 per pound, you've gotta go outside. And even then, a daily PSL will set you back just as much over the course of the fall season.

Thanks, Whole Foods. We'll see you at the coffee bar.
