Wilco's Solid Sound Festival

After last year's strongly felt absence, Wilco's Solid Sound Festival returns to MASS MoCA this summer (June 21-23) with yet another amazing lineup curated by the band, showcasing not only Wilco and its members' myriad side projects, but also a collection of some of the best bands and musicians playing today. If you're a Wilco fan, you know how passionate they are about their music and this festival has certainly been no exception. Held on the beautiful campus of MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA, Solid Sound is what every music festival should be. The atmosphere is laid back, the crowds are friendly and not overwhelming, the museum's collection and the temporary installations and exhibitions for the festival are fantastic, and the music is, well, incredible.
