YBCA Smut Capital of America Premiere Tonight (PHOTOS)

Before there was kink.com, there was the O'Farrell Theater.

Thursday night, YBCA honors San Francisco's history of sex cinema with "Smut Capital of America," filmmaker Michael Stabile's documentary that chronicles San Francisco's pornographic revolution.

The film launches a month-long ode to the golden age of porn, when Ron Jeremy was thin and catching an STD was as plausible as going blind from masturbation. Stop by for classic smut films, sexy surprises, and the history of the city's revolutionary legalization of pornography in 1969. They didn't call it the Summer of Love for nothing.
