You're Getting Old: 'South Park''s Stan Turns 10, Catches Cynicism (VIDEO)

WATCH: Stan Catches Cynicism On 'South Park'

Ah, cynicism. The little chip on your shoulder that comes after childhood, forever tainting your outlook on life. Or, if you're like Stan on this week's "South Park," you might catch cynicism as early as 10 years old.

OK, so it's not that serious of an affliction (and it is great for comedy) but Matt and Trey made some poignant-yet-potty-mouthed observations about getting older on Wednesday night's episode, appropriately titled "You're Getting Old."

In it, Stan struggles to stop seeing everything in the world as complete "s**t" after he turns the ripe old age of 10. And just a warning: when we say "s**t," we mean it both figuratively and literally (if you watch the full (NSFW) episode you'll see what we mean).

But first, watch this clip where Stan finds out from his doctor that he has cynicism, much to the chagrin of the other yet-to-be-jaded boys.
