SERGEANT FLUFFLES AND THE SURPRISE FOR SCOTT!

Sergeant Fluffles is a fourth generation Asian leopard cat with a square tail. Every morning Sergeant Fluffles likes to bring Scott and myself a special gift, usually leaving it on the front porch, while we do Ghatastha-Yoga on our mats in the sunroom. To date, Sergeant Fluffles has left us a:
--a pigeon
-a vole
-a shoe belonging to our neighbor Gary Burghoff
-a black bird
- a crow
-many mice.

Last week Sergeant Fluffles deposited a pigeon, still very much alive, with all its feathers ripped out, on the foot of our bed! Sergeant Fluffles licked the pigeon's plucked, beating chest, all while blinking shyly at Scott and myself.

We were so proud of Sergeant Fluffles!

Yesterday Sergeant Fluffles brought us an almost perfectly cylindrical bone he found buried in our yard! It was divided into three parts – a head, an upper extremity, and a neck. The head of the bone was globular, with a smooth surface lightly coated with a thin veil of cartilage. The neck projected upward and forward from the body of the bone. The slight degree of inclination in the neck suggested it was a femur belonging to an adult male human.

Boy, did Scott look sheepish.

Next week: Corporal Furball and the clamp
