An Awareness That Amazes Me

I work with several young people who are starting out in entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. I learn so much from them.

I am really honored to have this experience of working with them. When I look back at how I started after college it was a headfirst dive into the rat race, defining success without really thinking about it.

These young people have a maturity and awareness that amazes me. They have a passion to do big things, with the humility to know that life is about the journey, that achievement is about understanding ourselves first. Their passion to do big things, to make the world a better place, is driven first and foremost by their passion to understand themselves. That gives them a humility, and a pace that manifests itself as boldness, courage and caring.

They know they are destined to do big things, have taken bold steps to embark on them and to release them; to reflect on their purpose and how impact is defined for them.

What a gift to work with people like that.
