Newtown Kindness is an organization which was was formed after 6-year-old Charlotte Bacon passed away in the Sandy Hook school shootings. Their mission is to keep her memory alive by promoting kindness as a guiding principle of humanity.

Committed to fostering compassion in children and inspiring life-long contributors to society, the organization aims to facilitate acts of kindness within communities as well as raise awareness of kindness through education, sharing and recognition. HooplaHa attended the Kindness Awards to learn more about Charlotte and meet some of the most inspirational kids from all across the country and how they are making an impact in their communities and beyond!
