In 1994, Gary Sinise played a wounded veteran in Forrest Gump. Since then the actor has been involved with the Disabled American Veterans. After his first USO tour he wanted to do more, so he volunteered and in three weeks he was out on tour again. He does this not for himself, but as a way to give back to the men and women who serve our country.
