I didn't know what to expect when interviewing Jadyn Wong, so I was like, "Hmm, I better ask her serious questions."

(I immediately remembered Jadyn from an episode of Lost Girl -- she played Dao-Ming in the 2014 episode entitled "Destiny's Child." Hey Jadyn! You GO girl!)

Jadyn cracked me up with her witty and fun answers to my serious questions. Next time, I'll ask her fluff questions and see if she answers them seriously!

What is it like working with mostly male actors?

It is like bathing in testosterone.

What is the one thing you wish you had an opportunity to do when you were a kid but never did it?

Fly.

Why did not you do it?

I tried and realized I was mortal.

Are you a sci-fi fan?

I have not seen a Star Wars or Star Trek film, so probably not?

Tell us about your experience at ComicCon.

Great to meet fans, and see how invested and enthused they are about the show. And I was imagining what it would be like to be dressed up as a ninja turtle.

What are you most conflicted about in life?

At this moment? How to answer this question.

What tasks at home do you do yourself?

Everything.

Name a quote that's had a huge impact on you, how it's had the impact and where the quote is from.

"Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact, and that is -- everything around you that you call life, was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it...It's to shake off this erroneous notion that life is there and you're just gonna live in it, versus embrace it, change it, improve it, make your mark upon it."
- Steve Jobs

It helped shape me to question and challenge norms, people' advice, limiting beliefs I had adapted and the way things had always been done, particularly if it conflicted with what my gut was telling me. I tested this idea of "thinking for yourself" and it's led to some unimaginable and amazing experiences.

What did you do for your last birthday?

Solo backpacking trip in Europe.
