"The Late Show" host ripped Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos for reportedly leaving trick-or-treaters in the cold.
“Give me a Champagne bottle, c’mere. I want one,” Bezos says in a video of the moment, cutting off Shatner after his spaceflight.
“I hope I never recover from this," a deeply emotional Shatner said.
The 90-year-old became the oldest person in space aboard a Blue Origin ship and talked about the life-changing experience.
The commitment from the Amazon founder's Earth Fund represents roughly half a percent of his net worth.
