If you are still on the fence about cultivating your mind's innate abilities to lead and live with excellence, here are three critical reasons not to wait:

1. You only have one life and it shouldn't be spent on auto-pilot. If you are looking at the date and wondering how it could be February when it was just New Year's Eve last week, that is one sign that you are missing something important... your life! When we train our mind's ability to notice when we are distracted from this moment, and redirect it to the present, we are living our life more fully.

2. Wishing doesn't make it so. As with physical fitness, training the mind requires high quality instruction and an individual's commitment to experiment and practice with what is being taught. Practical approaches that bring this training into your everyday life in non-intrusive ways is a cornerstone of mindful leadership training.

3. Leadership excellence is needed from everyone of us. A leader is someone with influence and we all have an influence on the people and communities in our lives. Whether we are leading a global organization, a team, a classroom or a family, each of us is a leader. The training of mindful leadership is about whether we will choose to lead with excellence (focused, clear, creative and compassionate) or not. Becoming more of who you are requires that you strengthen the mind's innate capabilities so you are not pulled into reactive, check-the-box decisions when creative, compassionate choices are needed.

I hope you will choose to begin this training today by joining one of the Institute's upcoming trainings. Whether you prefer to learn in the company of others, or from the comfort of your own laptop, we have you covered. Right now you can learn more about live retreats in NY and MN, and a brand new online live workshop beginning February 12th.

See you soon-
Janice
