Dear President Obama,

First of all, I would like to thank you for everything you have done to inspire me and my entire generation to do become more politically engaged and open minded. I cannot tell you how much you mean to us. You are a combination of the Beatles, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, and Madonna all wrapped into one. You are the man! You have a Blackberry and a social network website... and you're the president of our country!

You have forever changed what it means to be the President of the United States and I'm so grateful and happy for your existence.

I can't tell you how much better I feel as an American knowing that you are in the White House. You scolded execs for paying themselves bonuses! Holla! I know that your stimulus package will work compared to Bush's 700 billion dollar disaster. I know this because you are going to actually watch how the money is being spent. Bush just threw our 700 billion at those same greedy execs and turned a blind eye. It is so sad what has happened in our country but I have great hope that you will watch your stimulus package and turn this economy around.

But I have to tell you, with all due respect, that I think you made a small mistake the other day when you mentioned the word "Limbaugh".

He and his cohorts are now slowly becoming irrelevant in this country. They are racist and all they want is to create controversy that allows their names to stay in the headlines. The hate and anger that they spew everyday over our airwaves attempt to infect us with their thoughts, but I believe with your win they are quickly falling into the background of mainstream thought in America.

Because of this fact, I am not going to use their names in the rest of this letter. Let's just call them, "The Radical Right". Members of this community support Fox News, which is a well-known source of racist dialogue.

I think that we need to stop paying so much attention to this group of people. Although they are angry and say vicious things they are moving further and further to the extreme and are having less of an effect on politics and our society.

Your definitive win is a huge sign of their voices becoming irrelevant to mainstream thought in America.

So, Mr. President, I ask that you please don't mention any of their names ever again. They love it too much. It gives them so much content to know that they are getting to you. Don't give them that happiness. The more we refer to them as "The Radical Right" and look at them as a voice that is far out of the mainstream, the faster they will become just that.

Racism doesn't play to mainstream America anymore. We as Americans have spoken in our recent election and if you are a racist in America you are not going to get any respect. These men on the radical right who bash you are just angry racists and the people of America will deal with them so you don't have to.

Thanks again for everything you are doing. You truly are bringing CHANGE to Washington. Closing Gitmo, addressing the Muslim world as a friend, and calling out top execs all in your first 2 weeks! If that's not change, then I don't know what is.

Don't think we're not watching though! We are and if I have more advice to you then I will be sure to respectfully submit it.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for what you have done for not only our country, but also the world. I can't even imagine what the weight of the world feels like and I thank you for taking that responsibility.

Sincerely,
Jason Pollock
