"A fit, healthy body -- that is the best fashion statement." -Jess C. Scott.

A healthy body never goes out of style, and while fashion trends may change every season, no one can blame a girl for wanting both fitness and fashion in their lives. Whether you're into Pilates, yoga, running or spinning, here are trends that you can afford to love this season.

Runway Fun: We saw lots of stripes on the runway during New York Fashion Week, and now we're seeing them on the treadmills. If you can't afford a full wardrobe from coveted workout brand, lululemon, try out this trend with an accessory. We love the reversible Brisk Run Headband ($26) in black and mint stripes. It will keep your ears extra warm on winter walks.

Color Pops: Color blocking has been around for a while, but now it's going from runway to running (and other workouts). It's a great way to incorporate bright pops of color while sweating it out on the elliptical. Try the GapFit gFast colorblock capris ($49.95). See and Be Seen: When you think of reflective gear, fashion may be the last thing that comes to mind. But brands are realizing that you don't have to sacrifice style for safety and they're coming up with reflective duds that will make you stand out in more ways than one. Try the Women's Nightlife Equilibrium LS II ($50) long-sleeve shirt from Brooks Running.

Don't Sweat It: Fashion meets function with breathable fabrics (and minimal sweat stains). For an affordable option, try Old Navy's GoDRY line. They have tanks made of moisture-wicking fabric for sale prices as low as $7.

Get a Lift: Why not feel attractive even when you're at the gym? The Victoria's Secret Sport collection has so many new sport bras styles to choose from. Yes, even push-up bras come with a racer-back these days. If you're feeling especially adventurous try the Knot-Back Sport Bra.

Final Tip: It is possible to be fit and fashionable on a dime, but if you're going to splurge on one item, make it your sneakers. They'll keep you safe and your feet pain-free. Running shoes usually go on sale in spring when more people are turning to the outdoors for their fitness fix.
