Super Bowl Vegas Style?

What's bigger than watching the big game in your living room? Watching it with several hundred other like-minded fans going crazy play after play! As usual Las Vegas takes everything to the craziest level possible and when Super Bowl Sunday comes it is no exception. If you can't make it to New Orleans this is your next best bet! Read on for the breakdown of how the Big Game gets played in Vegas.

The Betting

Many fans come to Vegas year after year for the Super Bowl so that they have a good excuse to make LEGAL bets on their favorite team. Sometimes it isn't about who wins or loses but in this case it is! Some savvy betters will be avidly watching the ticker at the Sports Book of their favorite casino hoping to watch it move that ½ point they need to feel more secure in putting up the cash.

Most people who bet frequently wouldn't call this the Holy Grail of sporting events (that term is saved for March Madness) but it is definitely a great excuse to have a quick weekend with the boys. Some prefer the long shot bet where they can lay down $5 hoping to win $5,000, whereas others are looking for the "sure thing". CBS Sports was kind enough to amass some of the crazier bets that can be a really good time to waste some money on.

The Nightlife

Vegas will bring out the big guns of entertainment at the drop of a hat and since the Super Bowl isn't until Sunday that leaves a couple of nights to party hard before settling down in front of the Jumbo-Tron on Sunday.

As you can imagine, this is one of the worst weekends of the year in regards to the guy vs. girl ratio. Not only are the clubs charging extra to get in (pre-sale tickets are already $85 at some), there are at least two guys for every girl in attendance. Rarely is there a better time to be a single girl looking to find your Prince Charming.

On the other hand, if you're looking for strip clubs, this could be one of your best weekends to head out. Some of the gentlemen's clubs will feature over 300 girls dancing AT ONE TIME. The nightclubs may be full of bromance but the Gentlemen's Clubs might be heaven!

Where Should I Watch It?

So now it's time to settle down on Sunday to watch the big game. Where should you go?

Nearly every casino and Sports Book will be offering various deals to get you to visit them and spend your money. Most will be offering great deals on beer and food specials where you'll be able to sit back, relax, and watch the big game on a screen large enough to rival your local cinema. Here is a complete list from Vegas.com.

Not that you'll be relaxing, that $500 bet on "Will Alicia Keys add at least one word to the National Anthem" has you chewing off your fingernails.

Even in you're watching it from a 13" black and white back home, have a great Super Bowl and check back soon for more posts about all things Las Vegas.
