NOW on PBS has released an amazing preview of its powerful program "Targeting the Taliban" (airing January 8, check local listings), which features rarely-seen footage of an embedded reporter shadowing the Pakistani army on a dangerous combat mission along the volatile Afghanistan/Pakistan border.
Illustrating how the most important front in the Afghanistan war may not involve by U.S. Troops and may not even take place in Afghanistan, it's a perspective you haven't seen before, and won't soon forget. (Neither will the reporter who, as you'll see, probably should have made a different wardrobe choice that morning.)
The full program airs January 8, and can also be seen on the NOW on PBS website
