I've been under the weather lately and missed most of the dust up between Arianna Huffington and George Clooney. A lot of people have been emailing me about the night I went to the movie premiere of "Good Night and Good Luck," with Jane Hamsher in LA. I wrote a short review of the film and the experience the next day. The movie was wonderful and afterwards Jane and I caught up with Arianna. We hung around after the Q&A segment to talk with George Clooney for a few minutes. He was a nice guy, very humble and open and I had a funny conversation with him about Bill O'Reilly. He said that Bill wouldn't debate him in a neutral forum among other things and then asked us about blogging because he didn't understand how it all worked. Arianna briefly told him what a blog was, but that they should hook up another time and he should consider joining in. I haven't seen all the information about what has transpired since, but I do know that we need both these great voices out there exposing the problems this country is facing when our media has failed us so miserably.
