Okay, I know you might be a diehard Yankees fan (or so you say), but if Albert Pujols whacks his 501st home run and it lands in your lap, are you dumb enough to throw it back?
That was the discussion of the night among a large number of Latino Yankees fans in the bleacher section of Yankee stadium yesterday. "Hell no, I'm a Yankee fan, but if people start pressuring me to throw that ball back, sorry, I don't speak English," said Adrian. Domingo stated, "I think that person will be kicking themselves in the butt when they learn what they just threw back." Taína said, "Sorry I'm neutral, I'm not throwing this ball back."
I put that that question up on my Facebook page and the remarks were the same. Everyone agreed that a true baseball fan would have known the value of a ball that was off the bat of what is certain to be a legendary baseball player like Albert Pujols.
So my question is, what would you have done?
