1.Gratitude.

We all have a lot of good things in life. Good health, education, nice family, beautiful home, car, etc. -- the list is endless. What is important is to be grateful for all the blessings that we have. There are millions of people who don't have even the basic amenities of life, like food or roof over them. When we are grateful for what God has given us, the universe blesses us with more things to be grateful for.

How is that possible? It is possible just as we can make audio sound possible on the radio. In our radio, we have a receiver. We set it to a particular frequency depending on the type of music we want to listen to. What happens? The receiver attracts waves of similar frequency at which music is being relayed.

We can then listen to the music from that receiver. In the same way, in life, when we are happy and grateful, our feelings attract from the universe similar situations, which make us happy and grateful.

2. Acceptance

Acceptance of the present moment without resistance gives you peace, because there is no inner resistance to what already is. What is real is only the present moment. Why? Because, the past is a thought. It is useless to brood over it. Similarly, the future is a thought. No point in being anxious about the future.

Eckhart Tolle's spiritual teaching revolves around being in alignment with the universe, which means being in harmony with the present moment.

Acceptance of what happens in the present moment has made my life stress free and peaceful.

3. Prayer

Whenever I have been in a situation causing anxiety, be it silly or very serious, I simply surrender to God and pray. Pronto, like a miracle, my problem gets solved.

Prayer is like an SOS to the universe. If we have faith in God and a strong belief that miracles do happen, then solutions suddenly surface from nowhere. It starts with small blessings, and when we acknowledge them with gratitude, it leads to bigger and bigger miracles.

So based on my personal experience, I have come to the conclusion that gratitude, acceptance of the present moment and prayer constitute the the keys to face any challenge that life may throw at us and lead a life of peace and happiness.
