On March 27, more than 29,000 active duty, guard/reservists, veterans, and military spouses will connect with dozens of America's best, and most veteran friendly employers. They will connect through the Veteran Recruiting (VR) virtual career fair. Since September 2011, more than 300 Fortune 1,000 employers have hired over 64,000 veterans through the VR virtual career fairs, and that number is sure to grow after the event on the 27th.

Katie Killius of Wells Fargo added the following comment in a recent interview:

Like many companies, we believe that hiring veterans is a win-win. Veterans bring many skills to the table, including leadership, teamwork, sense of responsibility, character and discipline. Wells Fargo has a range of careers opportunities in our various lines of business. and an expansive geography across the enterprise, so Veteran Recruiting (VR) virtual career fairs are a natural fit for us. Through our partnership with VR we have experience phenomenal candidate interaction and increased hires.

The virtual career fairs have connected more than 260,000 veterans and military spouses with hundreds of companies in 2013, and already resulted in more than 28,000 hires in 2014. Unlike a traditional career fair that requires the job seeker to travel to the location, the virtual career fair can be attended from anywhere in the world with a computer and internet connection. In essence, the career fair is brought to the company and the veteran.

Servicemembers, veterans, and spouses can register for the virtual career fair at http://www.veteranrecruiting.com
