Bigmouth Tweets Again : Kos Says Conservatives Like To Shoot Cops

I won't wait until the end of the post to get my full disclosure stuff out of the way; I was banned by the DailyKos for writing about the John Edwards scandal before Edwards admitted it. After the truth about Edwards came out and despite me sending a few emails to Markos Moulitsas Zúniga and a poll on DKos where around 3/4 of the people said I should be reinstated, I am still banned to this day. I believe Markos acted in a very weaselly way by doing things like pretending to have never heard of me and intentionally misstating my name to reporters, even though he'd called a YouTube video of mine 'The Best Political Video Of 1997' two different places.

Because of this brief and unfortunate history with Markos, people occasionally send me things about him. This time it was liberal blogger Tommy Christopher who broke a story this afternoon about Markos re-tweeting and then intellectually defending a job about the police officers who were killed in Pennsylvania today.

I'm going to crib here from Tommy's well documented post - please go read what he wrote but here are the relevant Tweets. (DanaHoule is a frontpage blogger at DailyKos.)

DanaHoule With no Veep to shoot people, folks are taking things in to their own hands

DanaHoule "He said he'll be ready if there's ever an invasion of the United States and that he had stockpiled foods and guns..." Wolverines!!

markosmoulitsas RT @DanaHoule: With no Veep to shoot people, folks are taking things in to their own hands

TommyXtopher What does this mean? RT @danahoule @markosmoulitsas With no Veep to shoot people, folks are taking things in to their own hands

markosmoulitsas When we were out of power, we organized to win the next election. Conservatives, apparently, prefer to talk "revolution" and kill cops.

Of course, the right wing blogosphere is all over the story. Markos has been tremendously successful with his blog and they don't like that. Anything they can attack him for, they will. I understand that; that's the game.

It was still wrong for Kos to say it.
