Historically, the inauguration of the President of the United States has been an galvanizing event that not only marks the peaceful transition of power from one leader to the next, but also functions as a means for the new President to inspire the nation's citizens.

Whether it's JFK's infamous words, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country," or Obama's vision of hope "We gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord," it's a day for the President to prove dedication to the American people.

Presidents, both good and bad, have taken to the podium on their big day to deliver such words of encouragement. While not all have followed through on their promises, it's an important moment that sets the tone for their term in office.

Donald Trump has big shoes to fill, and we've rarely seen him speak with the poise and candor of past Presidents. We get it, that's his schtick. The question still remains, what will President Trump say during his inaugural address?

We're all ears, Donald.
