River: Surrender

My favorite mental image from reading about Tantra is that the secret to happiness is floating as if you're in a river. We are all travelling together in a river of time, and you can fight it or try to swim upstream or you can just surrender and float in the current, letting it take you wherever it goes.

Whenever you find yourself in a situation in which you seem to be struggling against a current or fighting your way upstream, what would happen if you just surrendered and let go and floated? The secret of the river is that we are all going "downstream" anyway, so you may as well just go with the flow!
