When it comes to vampire-free YA novels, there's no one bigger than John Green. His new book, The Fault in Our Stars, shot up to No. 1 on Amazon the day it went up for pre-order.

Beginning with his first novel, Looking for Alaska, Green's books have all been critical and commercial hits. Along the way, Green has inspired a whole community of teenagers that share everything from their love of reading to their own jargon (for example, they call themselves Nerdfighters).

Green visited "The Interview Show" a few days ahead of the release of The Fault in Our Stars to talk about the book, his career and the success of his fictional soccer team.
