Didn't We Almost Have It All

Two Emmys.

Six Grammys.

Over four hundred career awards, a record eight American Music Awards in a single year.

Whitney Houston was the first of any musical act -- male or female, solo or group -- to sell more a million copies of an album in a single week.

The only one ever to gain the #1 Billboard spot seven times in a row.

If that weren't enough, she had a successful career in movies.

She would have turned fifty today.
