This month we celebrate Gay Pride and all that means to the millions of LGBT people around the world. For years I didn't know what it meant to be proud. Pride is so much more than the parades, floats, flags, rainbows, or nightclubs. Pride is a sense of peace that comes from living an authentic life and being true to yourself. Pride is the joy you feel knowing that your loved ones support you and the one you love. Pride is the sense confidence you feel when you open your heart and share the life you lead with complete strangers. I'm proud to share my story with you in the hopes that all of you can live with pride each and every day.
