Assange took refuge in the embassy in 2012 to avoid being extradited to Sweden over the rape allegation.
WikiLeaks has published hacked documents from Democratic officials, including information pertaining to Hillary Clinton.
He denies the documents are geared to damage Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Assange is wanted by Swedish authorities for questioning over allegations that he committed rape in 2010.
The whistleblowing platform tweeted and subsequently deleted a poll asking users to speculate.
"Lesser publications" are "not able to maintain accuracy when financial incentives are involved," the organization says.
The website's defense is basically just, "Yeah, but, Hillary Clinton."
Swedish prosecutors have an arrest warrant for the Wikileaks founder over the allegations.
