Back from vacation, Obama is feeling "a little feisty."
In response to a petition, the administration repeated the Justice Department's conclusion that there were no grounds for an indictment.
The official response simply called it the “Petition on Israeli-Palestinian Relations.”
If we are going to implement strategies to reduce public mass shootings, we have to keep in mind that we are not really going to reduce gun homicide rates in America. Just as in medicine, there is no one wonder drug that will reduce illness. So too is the case with criminal justice programs.
Their release could "subject the U.S. Government to criticism."
"It is not something that I intend to stop working on in the remaining 18 months."
Activists are nervous about what an advanced American surveillance system could do to their already diminished freedoms.
Obama said his thoughts are with the families of the victims.
The former vice president says the drilling "ought to be banned."
