Richard Glossip

"This is about every person deserving a fair trial."
Richard Glossip, the Oklahoma man whose execution was temporarily put on hold earlier this month but who is now set to die on Wednesday, made one final plea to the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday evening.
Denying his request will lead to "the most irreparable injury known to the law."
The majority said “the legal principle of finality of judgment” trumps Glossip's claims of innocence.
An Oklahoma court delayed the execution by two weeks to decide whether to weigh more evidence in Glossip's claim to innocence.
