The Media Spotlight

Several calls from national newspapers, weekly news publications and one monthly, all looking for a quote as to what I think and/or have to say about that torpid tempest in the Barack/Hillary teapot.

So here is a thread, yesterday, in the distressed fabric of that day:

Several calls from national newspapers, weekly news publications and one monthly, all looking for a quote as to what I (Anna Nicole is no longer with us, you see) think and/or have to say (they are not always the same in our world) about that torpid tempest in the Barack/Hillary teapot, as whipped up and served to us hourly by our oh-so responsible national media. This is taking place on the same day I am shocked, and ashamed to learn that a federal appeals court, ruling in the administration's favor, has declared that prisoners being held in the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay do not have the right to be heard in court.

The America we love is in intensive care -- without a health plan -- and talk about fiddling while Rome burned! -- where is the media spotlight?

It's turned all the way up on who is pissing on whose political parade!

The media's appetite for celebrity-driven drivel can never be satisfied. When the candidates see this clearly, maybe they'll stop serving themselves up, a consummation devoutly to be wished.
