Writing for a late night show, and particularly The Tonight Show, is every comedy writer's dream job. I don't have that job, sadly. But I still tried writing Jimmy Fallon's first sketch for his upcoming, very deserving, gig as the new host. Who knows, maybe he'll end up reading it and hiring me. Or more likely, suing me.
Anyway, I wish Fallon all the luck with his new show, and here's for a 20 year run. And to the real writing staff of this show- take in our jealousy, you deserve it.
