Performing takes stamina, like working out. You need to build your way up to the mile before just running it. Cheesy, but true.

I know it seems rare for me to blog so much, but in the last few days, my schedule has freed up; more opportunities to blog have been "knocking at my door," so I'm taking every advantage that I can. It just feels good to blog, and tell the world how you feel, whether or not the world wants to listen... (This is where you say, "Of course, we want to listen, Owen!")

Anyway, I know I blogged about my music concerts at the Whisky a Go Go and the Cat Club. I'm planning to do more. It's just hard to find a weekend when everyone in the band can play. My friends have all been saying to do one show a month, so being on stage becomes second nature to me. It's not that I wouldn't love to be performing once a month, because trust me, I would. But it's harder than it seems.

I've also been recording videos on YouTube, just to get myself out there a little bit more. Surprisingly, it's a lot of fun to do. Yes, recording videos can be a major pain because you can end up fixating on the little things and, before you know it, the whole day will have flown by. Because I'm something of a perfectionist, it's even worse for me, but I post the ones I have problems with anyway, on purpose. That way, I'll learn to accept that not everything can be perfect, that I can let go of my fears and just do what I do. I'll post the link at the bottom of the page, in case you want to check them out. I've put up two already. The songs I'm singing are my two of my all time favorites -- "Hometown Glory" by Adele and "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse. They are truly amazing artists, and have inspired me A LOT.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys... Thanks so much for reading.

With Love.
