I'm grateful for this sentiment from Norman Vaughan because the truest dreams only come in one size: Big.

Sometimes we're too busy to dream and we can't quite fit it into our schedule. But my friend was encouraged to dream, despite the obstacles, by her friend before she died from breast cancer.

"Do your art," she urged my friend.

For the practical among us who find dreaming utterly impractical, here's something to keep in mind: Big undertakings begin with the seed of a dream and they come to fruition only when they're well-tended.

So pen in some time to dream.

Do your art.

Nourish your dream.
