I started working with victims of suicide attacks to make a film on PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), when I became fascinated with the personalities of those who had committed those crimes, as they were described again and again by their victims. Especially the eerie fact that they described many suicide bombers as smiling seconds before they blew themselves up. This is a clip from my most recent film Suicide Killers, now on DVD, which explores the motives and the culture behind suicide bombers.

Can you tell where these suicide bombing attacks take place? Does it matter? These clips begin with an angelic Palestinian child's face and leads into a montage of suicide bomber attacks, starting with London, July 7, 2005: clips reveal London Underground trains and a Transport city bus, as well as police and ambulances attending to victims and evacuation of people at King's Cross and Brunswick Square as well as casualties at Royal London Hospital and Edgware Road.

Then comes the aftermath of the Spain train bombings and Saudi Arabian business complexes. Reminder of 9-11 WTC and Pentagon attacks, as well as a street scene post-a suicide terror bombing in Israel, finishing with a cell phone visual recording on Oct 5, 2005 in Bali, Indonesia of an actual detonation of a bomber - part of triple suicide attacks that killed 26 people.

This clip ends with Palestinian children playing with "mock" RPGs on a Jenin street hill.
