On Friday afternoon I did El Gordo y La Flaca live from Maracana Stadium right after Germany beat France in what turned out to be an uneventful match. On Saturday we climbed to one of the seven wonders of the world: El Cristo. The views of Rio were incredible. Later we visited the hip neighborhood of Santa Teresa with their Relais Chateau Hotel and finished the day at the Giuseppe Grill. Here in Rio it is the closest thing to the famous Peter Luger Steak House outside of Brooklyn, New York. It felt like Costa Rica stole the heart of the world when they went to penalty kicks with Holland and lost in the last minute. Argentina is on the way to face Holland in the semi finals of this Brazil World Cup 2014.
