Highly Anticipated New Call of Duty Game Hits Stores Tomorrow: MediaBytes with Shelly Palmer November 9, 2009

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will hit stores tomorrow. The new game in the popular Activision series has been lauded by gaming critics and is one of the highest profile entertainment releases of the year. The new Call of Duty will be available at midnight tonight at over 10,000 stores in North America.

Due to high demand and overwhelming pre-order sales, Barnes & Noble has pushed back the market date of its new Nook eReader. The new device, which will retail for $259, will ship over December 11th for new customers. While Barnes & Noble has pushed back shipping dates for new customers, Nook's originally scheduled to ship on November 30th will ship as planned.

A man using numerous online pseudonyms to comment on blogs is being prosecuted for doing just that. Raphael Haim Golb, a Dead Sea Scroll scholar, is accused of using the names of his academic rivals to reinforce his own arguments on the famous scrolls. Golb could be charged with as much as many as three crimes, including impersonation, identity theft and aggravated harassment.

Zynga, one of the biggest social gaming companies, will remove ads placed inside games. The in game offers have plagued the games, creating a "bad user experience," says Zynga CEO Mark Pincus. The initiative could increase the user-ability and quality of online games, making them even more popular.
