The ideal morning after breakfast shouldn't feel planned. The message is, "This is just what I had around and I can whip a delicious breakfast up out of thin air. Because I'm professionally awesome. All the time."

Chances are one (or both) of you are probably hungover. Greasy foods are great and noise is terrible. So, here are the best foods to make them want to see you again.

1. Eggs Benedict

Eggs Benedict is the go-to recipe if you're really trying to impress, because a) it sounds fancy and b) it looks gourmet but is actually super easy. You could even make this while hungover, though I would personally try to prevent that if I were you.

If you want to shake things up and you love your hot sauce, try out our Sriracha Eggs Benedict to spice up your breakfast.

2. Gourmet Waffles

Now there are two ways to go about this, so let's just cover both to be safe.

If you've got a waffle maker: You can make waffles in 10 minutes and cover them in whatever toppings you like. I'm partial to strawberries and chocolate.

If you're lacking a waffle maker: All you need is quality frozen waffles and berries. Feel free to add a more personal touch by finishing off the dish with a cute whipped cream design.

3. Pancakes

Pancakes are amazing, almost better than sex - really. They're incredibly versatile and you can pimp them out. Make sure you make more than one serving. No one appreciates watching someone else eat some hot pancakes while hungry the morning after.

If you're really in a hurry, though, try out these two ingredient pancakes.

4. Sweet Crêpes

Embrace the French way of life (where food and wine are above all) with these easy and elegant dessert crêpes that are just as good for breakfast. These can be filled with all sorts of goodies (think Nutella, cream, jam, fruit, etc.), so your only limit is your imagination.

This breakfast is light, flavorful, and versatile. Be prepared to have your partner begging for seconds.

5. Smoothies

Smoothies are the perfect start to any day. You can even make the perfect one to accompany whatever else you make for breakfast, if you really wanted -- but that may be trying a little too hard. I mean, I wouldn't do both, and I am the queen of trying too hard.

I personally don't recommend this if you're the hungover one. Blender noises in the morning? Ugh. No thank you, pass the Advil please.

6. Omelettes

Omelettes are the easiest thing to make, period. Just take some eggs, fillings, oil, and you have an omelette ready to make. It's a step up from frying an egg over easy. There's not much that can go wrong -- well, besides burning it.

Besides, eggs are necessary for every breakfast. So if you don't have any other ingredients on hand besides stuff to throw in an omelette, you're set.

7. French Toast

French toast is the breakfast choice of the gods. I seriously don't know if I'd be happier with this or pancakes. And the great thing is, you can whip it up super fast with ingredients you probably have lying around at all times. If you want to be extra decadent, you can make it fancy with bananas foster or strawberries.

You can even make it in your microwave if you're pressed for time or don't want to clean up.

8. Breakfast Hash

Personally, I have my own special breakfast hash that I absolutely adore. And I'm not going to lie, it's probably the best thing ever when I'm hungover -- it's got grease, protein, and carbs, which is everything both of you would need to get back on your feet. That's what makes breakfast hashes the bomb for someone the morning after.

You can make one super fast in your microwave, or find that perfect hangover cure hash.

9. Banana Bread Muffins

Banana bread muffins are great because you can whip them up super fast, and who doesn't love freshly baked muffins? It's even quicker if you have a blender, because you can just throw all the ingredients in there, blend, pour, and bake.

As much as I would love to recommend banana and peanut butter together, you never know if someone has a peanut allergy. No one wants an ER visit first thing in the morning.

10. Breakfast Scramble

Alright, so we've all been there. There's nothing in your pantry but bacon, cheese, eggs, and maybe some veggies. I know I have, the struggle of being a broke college student was too real that week.

But, that's really all you need for an amazing breakfast scramble. Who doesn't love cheese, bacon, and eggs? Well, besides people who don't eat pork, and they're missing out. You've got two of the main ingredients for cheesy bacon fries right there. 'Nuff said.
