Hey Minnesotans! Who Would You Rather Be In Bed With?

I'm not a member of the Al Franken campaign, but it wouldn't hurt for his staff to remind the caucus-goer that while voting Franken into the Senate is an entertaining option, it is anything but a gag.

It's caucus time in Minnesota and Democratic voters are asking themselves, "who will be the Democratic candidate best suited to remove Norm Coleman from office?" Some naysayers to Al Franken's candidacy label his candidacy a joke.

But when you ask the important questions as to how Franken would compare with Coleman -- who was orginally 20 ahead of Franken in the polls and is now tied or behind -- one thing comes becomes apparent... Franken has the cache to that makes his candidacy anything but a joke.

And if caucus-goers are willing to ask the important questions, the result should be a nod to Franken.

WHICH ONE REALLY SUPPORTS THE TROOPS?

Franken - Seven USO Tours into war areas. Iraq four times. Says "the best way to convince the Iraqi government that we're leaving is to actually start leaving." Supports immediately beginning the process of bringing our troops home.
Coleman - No withdrawal

WHICH ONE IS THE FLIPFLOPPER?

Franken - Life-long Democrat.
Coleman - Crossed over from Democratic to Republican Party in 1996.

WHICH ONE HAS YOUR FAMILY'S HEALTH FOREMOST IN MIND?

Franken: "We need to go to universal health care. A single-payer system would be the most effective in terms of reducing administrative costs, and I would be thrilled to support such a system."
Coleman: Norm Coleman has received nealry $450,000 in campaign contributions from the Pharmaceutical industry since his election in 2002.

WHICH ONE HAS NO SUCCESSFUL WRESTLING EXPERIENCE?

Franken - Member of his varsity wrestling team in high school where he actually won a number of times.
Coleman: Lost gubernatorial election to a wrestler.

WHICH ONE KNOWS HOW TO BEAT BACK THE HYPOCRITES?

Franken - Was able to get the people who dislike him the most to help promote his books. Placing Fox News and Bill O'Reilly on the cover of his book, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right," for which the so-called smart guys at Fox, including O'Reilly, sued, wherein the judge laughed them out of court, caused Franken's book sales to skyrocket and his wallet, along with Bill O'Reilly's head, to EXPLODE!
Coleman - Frequent Fox News Guest

Now, does Franken's campaign seem more serious than you first thought?

I'm not a member of the Al Franken campaign, but I for one, would think it wouldn't hurt for his staff to bumper-sticker remind the caucus-goer that while voting Franken into the Senate is an entertaining option, it is anything but a gag.
