In a revealing Elle profile, the musician said her ex-boyfriend told her that killing the animals helped him get into character for a role.
On the "Grounded with Louis Theroux" podcast, the musician detailed how the actor would wake her up at night to "accuse" her of "all sorts of things."
The director said she stands with singer FKA twigs and other women who have accused the actor of abuse in recent weeks.
The singer is speaking out about being "hurt emotionally" by Shia LaBeouf days after FKA twigs accused the actor of assault, battery and abuse.
“What I went through with Shia was the worst thing I’ve ever been through in the whole of my life," the musician said of her relationship with the actor.
