On a trip to the middle east, U.S. Ambassador the U.N. Nikki Haley told Syrian refugees that the United States will do all it can to help them. But by refusing to take in refugees and with deep budget cuts on the way, that’s just not true.
“The U.S. would be shooting itself in the foot” to withhold aid, one expert said.
The anti-poverty group says assistance today will "help prevent humanitarian crises tomorrow."
