Bystanders could be heard screaming as an alligator lunged at a man fishing in a South Carolina pond.
City officials said the abandoned gator was likely dumped as an unwanted pet.
“Gobbled it down, lickety-split. The salami didn’t stand a chance,” Floridian Trevor Walters said.
"We will solely be focused on the future health of our family."
