On Friday, Newsom vetoed a law that would have required judges to consider if a parent affirms their child’s gender identity in custody and visitation decisions.
"Your coal agenda is up there with your 9/11 theories," the California governor said.
“I call B.S. on this whole debate. It is purely a political canard," the California Democrat said of the claim that's being peddled by Donald Trump and others.
The California governor, though, said he would stick by his pledge to select a Black woman.
The California governor warned it was “more of a threat” to democracy.
"Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd questioned Newsom on why people shouldn't consider him a "likely candidate" in 2024.
