RAFAH

The looming operation in the city has raised global alarm and Israel's closest allies have warned against it.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians would be ā€œat imminent risk of deathā€ if Israel moves forward with the Rafah assault, the United Nations humanitarian aid agency said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to launch an incursion into a Gaza city sheltering hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.
Israel has carried out near-daily air raids on Rafah, where more than half of Gaza's population of 2.3 million has sought refuge from fighting elsewhere.
ā€œVictory requires entering Rafah and eliminating the terrorist battalions there,ā€ the Israeli prime minister said in a video announcement.
Yazan al-Kafarneh, 10, is one of the latest children in Gaza to die of severe malnourishment as Israel blocks aid from entering the territory.
The operation killed at least 67 Palestinians, including women and children, according to local health officials.
The warning came a day after the agency's chief announced he had fired and was investigating several employees over allegations they participated in the Oct. 7 attack.
