The Georgia Republican apparently thinks it's a good idea to compare yourself to a conqueror known for brutality.
The Georgia Republican, who co-owns the Atlanta Dream, has publicly objected to the basketball league's support of Black Lives Matter.
"I think it’s because people respect our message," Warnock, the senior pastor at the famed Ebenezer Baptist Church, said in an interview.
The pastor from Dr. Martin Luther King's former church is debating becoming a candidate.
