Vicente Fox said he's reminded of the time the countries spent fighting in the 1800s.
He called both men "authoritarian" leaders who "impose their wills" upon their nation's people.
"When has he spoken about compassion?" the former Mexican president said. "When has he spoken about the poor?"
"If he’s gone soft on Trump, it will hurt him greatly. He will even be considered like a traitor."
