Dear Father God, in the Holy name of Jesus Christ I thank you for the blessing of Jeremy Lin. Your words are true and your promises are forever kept. In the last couple of weeks you have given the world a revelation of scripture.

In Matthew 5:5 your undying word says "blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." Jeremy Lin is truly a tool of yours, the most high God, the creator of heaven and earth. I thank you for protecting him from the pen that was inspired by Satan. When the writer from ESPN made the derogatory comment that there was a chink in the armor, most people viewed the comment as only racist. Although the headline was definitely an insensitive racist act it was also a direct attack on the Spirit of God. The headline read, "chink in the armor." Because Lin is a devout Christian and a tool of Gods to reach the masses, I believe that the armor here is referring to the Spiritual armor of God. Although Satan was probably unknowingly using the writer, it shows how savvy he can be. But we serve a God that can't be fooled.

So I would like to thank you Father for protecting our brother in Christ. I pray that you continue to show the world your works through athletes now and in the years to come, and for athletes like myself that didn't completely answer the call when we where on the big stage, I pray for forgiveness and strength to encourage the brothers that you are now raising up. Like Tim Tebow, Jeremy Lin through the Grace of God is making huge strides for the Gospel in sports and because of this the world is being blessed.

I pray for exceeding strength to be given to Jeremy that he may continue to give you all the Glory in not only winning games but more importantly winning souls for Christ, Amen.
